ABOUT THE OWNERS
Friends for over 16 years, Emily and Alicia always dreamed of opening a bookstore together when they retired. Emily managed Page 42 under previous ownership, with the intention of leaving when she graduated from Gonzaga. When the previous owners offered to sell, Emily jumped on the chance, and immediately asked Alicia to join her on this earlier-than-expected entrepreneurship opportunity.
Now they are a dream team that is determined to make a positive impact on our community, one book at a time.
Emily and Alicia can be seen in their natural habitat, slinging books, cracking jokes, and having fun.

Emily Peterson

When she isn't working the storefront, Emily enjoys throwing community events, filling little free libraries, reading personal growth and romance, and making bookmarks.
Alicia Glubrecht
Owner
Alicia is a mom to two wonderful boys and and has developed her passion for literature, nature, and creative art. She enjoys animals, the outdoors, painting, and endurance road racing in her free time.

Mikala
Bookseller
A ray of sunshine who specializes in keeping our shelves well stocked and our customers happy. In her free time, she enjoys board games and re-reading nostalgic kids books.
Sarah Rose
Event Bookseller
Sarah Rose is an artist, activist, and bug-enthusiast. Her art can be purchased in-store or seen here: Instagram.com/sarahrose.artworks
When not in store, she can be found advocating for safer streets and painting bugs on bikes.
Sam
Bookseller
Sam has loved book and literature for as long as he can remember. When he isn't selling books to the community, he is working on his debut sci-fi dystopian novel.
Abby
Bookseller
Abby is a lover of books, retro video games, books, stuffed animals, books, and books, in that order.
She has a background in book and paper conservation and is always interested in looking at the older items that come through Page 42. In her free time she can be found doing handcrafts or chasing her dog around the yard.
Kira
Bookseller
Kira is pursuing a degree in engineering and has a love for science, art, and of course, books! Her favorite book of all time is The Lord of the Rings. She adores her two cats, Moose and Goose.
